Company History

Since July 1, 1950, when the former company Elektro - Praga factory officially started production, the company has experienced many changes in both the organizational development and technological aspects. The company changed its official name into ELBA in 1990 and became publicly traded in the year 1994. Currently, we are actively operating 4 separate divisions - Overhead Line Fittings, Gate Systems, Tooling and Surface Finishing.

Factory incorporated into Slovak Electrotechnical Factories (SEZ) headquartered in Krompachy

Removal of the factory from SEZ Krompachy and incorporation into Elektrovod Bratislava as an independent factory

Creation of the state owned company - ELBA Kremnica

Establishment of the joint-stock company - ELBA, a.s. Kremnica
